Cinical factors Influencing the Efficacy of Helicobactor Pylori Eradication of Triple Therapy ( Amoxicillin, Levofloxacin, PPI) in Thai Nguyen General Hospital

Abstract: Helicobacter pylori (H.
pylori) is a main cause of gastritis, peptic ulcer and gastric malignancies. H. pylori still remains a challenge dute to antibiotics
resistance. A triple rescue
regimen containing levofloxacin is a potential alternative; however, resistance
to quinolones is rapidly increasing.Materials and
Method: Prospective study on 61 patients (who failured
to the fist line therapy) were cured by this regimen (Pantoprazol + Amoxicillin
+ Levofloxacin) for 28 days. Results: the
eradication rate was 83.6%. The rate of eradication of the group with one of
ulcer and realease symptom are sinificantly higher than that of above one and
no realease symtom ( P<0,05). Conclusion:
This regimen is effective. Release of symptom and the number of ulcers are
the prognostic factors in the treatmen result
