Overview
Abstract:
Objectives: Describe some factors related to the treatment results of patients with cerebral hemorrhage in Thai Nguyen Central Hospital. Subjects: 40 patients with cerebral hemorrhage were treated at Thai Nguyen Center Hospital from November 2018 to August 2019. Methods: Descriptive study. Results: The average age of patients in the study was 58.03±11,267. Male / female ratio is 37/3. 62.5% of patients have a history of hypertension, alcohol abuse, 28% of patients have cirrhosis. The average NIHSS score is 10.33, Glasgow score is 14.03. The deep gray matter is the most common site of bleeding (67.5%). There were 14 (35%) patients with anemia. Regarding outcomes after 3 months, 7 patients (17.5%) died, of which, 4 patients died in the hospital (57.1%). The average mRS score was 2.83±1,986 and there were differences related to alcohol abuse (p = 0.022; OR, 6.0; 95% CI from 1,343 to 26,808), cirrhosis (p = 0.033; OR, 10.5; 95% CI, from 1,126 to 97,908) and anemia (p = 0.021; OR, 5,625; 95% CI from 1,349 to 23,449), NLR (p=0,018, OR,6,333; 95% CI, from 1,373 to 29,205). Functional outcomes of patients with cerebral haemorrhage were associated with average HGB, GOT, Glasgow and NIHSS levels at admission. Conclusion: The results of the study showed the associations of alcohol abuse, cirrhosis, anemia, NLR, Glassgow and NIHSS score, concentration of HGB, GOT at admission with the 3-month outcomes of patients with ICH.
