Abstract:
Early
awareness and knowledge about reproductive health care of women of childbearing
age help women carry out planned childbirth most effectively, prevent diseases
and birth defects for women. children in the future, preparing the woman with
health conditions for a safe pregnancy and childbirth in the future. This study
evaluates knowledge, attitudes, practices and explores some factors related to
reproductive health care of women of childbearing age. A cross-sectional
descriptive design was used in this study The study was conducted on 385 women
in Age of childbirth,
data is done by a set of pre-prepared questionnaires. The results show that: in
general, there is a lack of knowledge (37.7± 4.5 points/52 points), a positive
attitude (11.1 ± 1.4 points/14 points) and poor practice (9.4 ± 2.6 points/20 points) on reproductive health care. There are
differences in knowledge, attitude and practice of Reproductive health care
among age groups, cultural practice groups, Status marriage, Occupation, number
of previous obstetric and gynecological visits and ever received information
(p<0.05). Research to promote health counseling, communication and education
on reproductive health care for women of childbearing age, especially on
sexually transmitted diseases and violence.
