Overview

Abstract:

Background:Village health workers are an extended arm of the commune health station, playing an important role in the people's health care system. Objective: Assess the current state of organization and operation of the village health network in Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province in 2021 and some related factors.Methods:Cross-secional description of all 194 primary health workers in the district. Results: 64.4% of Village health worker feel secure in their work, 84.5% work part-time,82.0%think the remuneration is not appropriate, 87.6% are not given a revolving medicine bag, 49.3% do not equipped with medical equipment, 27.8% have not been provided with communication facilities, 39.7% have not been trained.Good communication skills reached 50.5%. Operational results were 45.9% good.Some factors that affect the performance of medical staff include age;Academic level; Qualification; Being a medical worker is simple,you can work with peace of mind, be equipped with medicine bags, medical equipment or media pictures along with your knowledge, attitudes and skills. Conclusions: The proportion of primary health workers with working skills and operational results is still low. The main influencing factor is professional qualifications, only working as primary health workers and resources for activities.
