OSTPARTUM SITUATION AT OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF THAI NGUYEN CENTRAL HOSPITAL IN 5 YEARS

Abstract:
Hysterectomy and postpartum is a surgery
performed as a means of saving the patient's life in
complicated obstetric complications.
Objectives: To describe the clinical and subclinical
characteristics of patients with an indication to
hystectomy during and after caesarean or postnatal at
the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Thai
Nguyen Central Hospital from June 2014 to June 2019.
Subjects and methodology: 110 pregnant women were indicated to hystectomy during and after
caesarean or postnatal. Methods: descriptive crosssectionalstudy.
Results and conclusions: The rate of hysterectomy
and postpartum in the Thai Nguyen Central Hospital in
5 years is 0,6%. The age of study subjects is mainly
20-34 years old (62,7%); the rate of hysterectomy in
the multiparous women was 82,9%; the cause of
hysterectomy because bleeding accounts for the
highest percentage; most indications for hysterectomy
are performed during and after cesarean section,
accounting for 88,2%.
