Introduction:
Placenta previa is when the placenta attaches inside the uterus but in an
abnormal position near or over the cervical opening. It obstructs the delivery
of the fetus and also causes a number of dangerous complications for the mother
and baby. Objective: Evaluate the
value of color doppler ultrasonography in the prognosis of placenta accreta
spectrum at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Thai Nguyen Natinal
Hospital, comment handling attitude placenta previa at the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology in Thai Nguyen Natinal Hospital. Objects and methods: A cross-sectional study in 44 cases of
diagnosis and treatment placenta previa in Thai Nguyen Natinal Hospital from
01/2020 to 12/2020. Results and Conclusion: Pregnant women aged ≥35 accounted
for the highest 45.5%. Women with a history of one-time cesarean section accounted for
45%. The rate of placenta previa partial and placenta previa total is
45,5%. Color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of placenta accreta
spectrum has sensitivity 77,8% specificity 85,71%. The average gestational age
at admission was 34± 2,5 weeks.
Gestational age at cesarean section
was 36 ± 2,4 weeks. Emergency cesarean section due to bleeding accounts
for the highest 31,8%. Having cesarean section before labour due to placenta
accreta spectrum accounts for 20,9%. The proportion of pregnant women requiring
blood transfusion was 74,6%
