STATUS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AMONG MEDICAL STUDENTS IN THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

Abstract:
Objective: To describe the status of physical activities among medical students in Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in 2020. Subjects and methods: Descriptive research method, cross-sectional study design with sample size was 640 general medical students. Information collected through direct interviews using structured questionnaires. Results: 25.9% of students participating in the study had met the level of physical activity recommended by WHO. The majority of students in this study had the low level of physical activity (74.1%), and students had the high and medium levels were 0.9% and 25.0%, respectively. There were the significant relations between the transportation, having past-time work and the level of student's physical activity.
