The situation of some early complications in acute hemorrhagic stroke patients at Thai Nguyen National Hospital

Abstract:
Objectives: Analyze some related factor to early complications in patients suffered from acute intracerebral hemorrhagic patients at Thai Nguyen National Hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 194 patients with acute intracerebral hemorrhagic, treated in the Department of Neurology - Thai Nguyen Central Hospital. Results: The mean age of subjects is 62,63±12,55 (years). The male rate is 70,1%. The propotions of patients with history of hypertention, lipid metabolism disorder, diabetes are 73,2%, 33,0% and 9,8%, respectively, the average NIHSS scores at admission and discharge were 62,63±12,55 and 5,40±6,09 (points), respectively. The rate of patients with mRS score from 0-2 at discharge accounted for 59,3%, common early complications were pneumonia 28,4%, gastroesophageal reflux 17,0%, gastrointestinal bleeding 5,2%, urinary tract infection 4,1%, cardiovascular 2,6%. NIHSS score over 15, the number of white blood cells in peripheral blood is greater than 10G/L, without performing early rehabilitation exercises is associated with apperance of early complications. Conclusion: The common early complications in patients with acute intracerebral hemorrhagic is pneumonia. The NIHSS score over 15, the number of white blood cells in peripheral blood is greater than 10G/L, without performing early rehabilitation exercises have relation to early complications in acute intracerebral hemorrhagic patients.
