Training various skills in teaching probability to foster critical thinking in Students

Abstract:
In the field of higher education, critical
thinking skills play an indispensable role in improving the quality of training
at universities. To develop this skill for students, applying appropriate
teaching methods for each module is very crucial. The Probability module not
only helps students improve their mathematical abilities but also encourages
the development of creative and critical thinking. In this article, a 6-step
probability problem solving model is built, along with the application of
diverse teaching methods such as groupdiscussions, exercises, analysis of
real-life situations and the use of
various learning materials. These methods are considered effective in training
students' critical thinking skills.
