Objectives

Knowledge:

• Present basic knowledge of glass dispensing.

• Present basic knowledge of refractive errors.

• Apply knowledge in glass dispensing.

Skills:

• Manipulate skills of grinding and fitting glasses, perform specialized techniques about medical glasses, measuring and fitting glasses according to a prescription, and dispensing glasses according to samples.

• Practice treatment skills of refractive errors.

• Counsel patients how to choose suitable frames and lenses appropriately to each patient’s status.

Attitude:

• Be aware of the importance of glass dispensing in community.

• Have the right attitude, share and sympathize with the patients with refractive errors.
